Additional Information

Step 1

  • Frog Pile-Up Paint by Number, or other 9 x 12 inch design
  • Scissors
  • Ruler
  • Permanent tape runner

See the Supply List for items you can purchase here. You will also need:

  • 9 x 12 inch or smaller sketchpad
  • Scrapbook paper
  • Chipboard letters
  • Craft glue
  • Craft knife

Step 2

Measure the inside of the sketch pad’s front cover and cut a piece of paper to be one inch larger on each side. Adhere to the inside cover, turning the excess to the front of the book and gluing in place. Do the same for the outside of the back cover, turning the excess to the inside of the back cover. Cut one more piece of paper slightly smaller than the cover and secure to the inside of the back cover for a nice finish.

Step 3

Measure the front cover of the sketch pad and trim your painting as needed. Glue to the front cover.

Step 4

Select chipboard letters for your desired title of the book. Using leftover paint from your design, paint the letters in a color that coordinates yet contrasts well with the painting. Adhere in place.

Step 5

If your sketch pad has a spiral binding, you might want to tie on some scrap pieces of ribbon or a tassel.
