DIRECTIONS HAT Row 1-6: *K1, p1; rep from *. Row 7 (RS): With B, K3, *kfb, k7, rep from * across ending k4—45 sts Row 8: Purl. Row 9: Knit. Row 10: Purl. Rows 11-12: With C, knit. Rows 13-14: With D, knit. Rows 15-16: With C, knit. Cut C and D. Row 17: With B, knit. Row 18: Purl. Rows 19-28: Rep Rows 17-18 five more times. Row 29: K3tog, *k2tog; rep from *—22 sts. Row 30: P2tog across—11 sts. Cut yarn, leaving long tail for sewing. Thread tail through remaining sts and pull tight to cinch; sew side seam. With B, make a pompom and sew to top of hat. Weave in ends.

YOKE Note: Yoke is made in the round. Add needles as needed as you follow instructions below. Rnd 1 (RS): With double-point needles and C, knit across 26 sts of front, k2tog over last front st and first st of one sleeve, knit 17 sts of sleeve, k2tog over last sleeve st and first back st, knit 25 sts of back, k2tog over last st of back and first st of next sleeve, knit 18 sts of second sleeve-89 sts. LEGS Row 1 (RS): Knit On Cast On 2 sts, knit across 22 sts; turn, Knit On Cast On 2 sts, place remaining unworked stitches on hold—26 sts for one leg. Row 2: Purl. Row 3: Knit. Row 4: Purl. Rows 5-8: Rep Rows 3-4 two times. Rows 9-14: *K1, p1; rep from * around. BO in ribbing, leaving a long tail for seaming. Place held sts back onto needle. Rep Rows 1-14 and finishing for second leg. Sew inner leg seams together. Weave in ends. I-cord waist tie: With A and double-point needles, cast on three sts. Work I-cord until tie measures 26" (66 cm). K3tog. Fasten off. Weave in ends. Weave cord through waistband eyelets, making sure the ends face outward on either side of the front center of snow pants.
