Rated 3 out of 5 by Emmie1 from Lots of darts This is not a Jiffy dress! There are darts all over this dress. A lot of ironing. I would suggest this pattern to someone who knows how to sew and not beginning to learn to sew.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Sewslr from Simple....not so much I haven't done any sewing for 20 years. So I decided to do a simple pattern to start practicing. This simple pattern is not for a beginner. The instructions are unclear for a beginner. I figured it out by looking at a similar store bought dress. A beginner may be intimidated by the folding/ironing basting and thin stitching necessary to make this dress. I am very impressed with how simple it was to make the bow. If the cuts for different sizes were color coded- this pattern would be much easier to cut.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Ana22 from NOT for beginners Just learning how to sew and bought this because the pattern said "jiffy" but the sheer amount of darts alone (which I had to look up because I didn't even know what darts were) is too intimidating for someone just starting out. Cute dress and maybe if you have help, it's okay but it's far too many details for a beginner
