Rated 4 out of 5 by LeiaAurora from Easy pattern for a beautiful cloak! I bought this pattern as I needed a cloak to match my Ren Faire costume. It was predicted to rain and I wanted to be warm. I found the pattern extremely easy to follow and made the cloak in just a few hours. I ended up adding about 8 inches to the length as I wanted a cloak a bit longer than what it is patterned for. I also lined it. The material I used for the outer portion was a hunter green polyester lining fabric and for the actual lining, I used Symphony Broadcloth. Since I didn't want to hem it as shown, I used bias tape to give it more of a streamlined look. Ran out of one color 3/4 of the way in so just used a different color to finish the bottom. The pleating on the hood is perfect and I love the overall drape of the entire piece. Highly recommend this pattern. I am a beginner and found it easy to follow.
