Simplicity Pattern 3688 Misses' & Plus Size 1940s Vintage Sportswear is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 5.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing separates pattern Great separates pattern, and extremely versatile. I have made the blouse and the trousers, and love them both. They look nice together and with other items in my wardrobe. The trousers aren't really historically accurate, but they do have a nice look. The blouse is easy to make (no zipper and one button), and the pleats on the front were a change from what I normally make. The pleats are very practical, and keep the blouse tucked in nicely. If I make it again I might modify it to button up the back and have the pleats there too, as was more common during the 40s. I am dying to make the skirt sometime, but just haven't found the right fabric.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for any skill! I bought this pattern and fabric a while ago and just now got the nerve to make it. Ive since made the shirt, pants, and skirt. LOVE it! I'm a curvy 27 year old and it's so cute to wear to work. I was worried it would look costume-e but it doesn't. Total sharp look!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The pattern that keeps on giving I've made the pants, shirt, and blouse. The only reason I haven't done the jacket is I haven't found the right fabric. Great 40s styling but wearable in real life too -especially for work. You will not regret getting this pattern.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My most used pattern I was looking for a pattern for 1940's pants, and I kept stumbling over rave reviews of this pattern so I finally decided to buy it about a year ago... I have now sewn three pairs of pants and three skirts from this pattern... Especially the pants are perfect! They are 40ish, without being costumy, and the fit is great. I made one pair of pants and one skirt in a strechy fabric, and those were less successful, so from now on I'll stick to regular non-stretch suiting fabrics, but I'll definitely make more:-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 4 Piece Wardrobe Suit I did not know this was a 4 piece wardrobe suite until I received the pattern today. I have found wool/linen suit fabric at a thrift store and I am going to make the jacket and slacks from it. I love the detail of the jacket and very attractive slacks. I love the blouse being straight across to the shoulders. The skirt looks too wide for me being short but I can take the wideness it.
