Rated 5 out of 5 by Fehize from Perfect for undergarmets for any special occasion! ...Or for cosplaying, like I used my patterns for. *laughs* Anyways, I did the design that had a waistband out of spandex, instead of using elastic to gather. It... did not come out very crisp, compared to the picture. [Stretching fabric was annoying to use!] However, minus just the little issue at the waist - which is so tiny that the clothing covers it all anyways, so it's not that big of a deal - the rest of the pattern worked beautifully. I added some extra lace [because part of the petticoat was going to be exposed] as well as added a hoop skirt [4 tier] underneath for added volume. On its own, this petticoat doesn't add TOO much volume if your trying to go for a dress 'poof' bigger than A-frame...[?] It was also very easy to sew, just a lot of time messing around with organza. [And researching what 'organza' even was!] I am a novice extreme sewer, and pretty much just dove right into this.
