Rated 5 out of 5 by LeiaAurora from Easy for a beginner to follow I recently lost a substantial amount of weight and my Ren Faire costume no longer fits me so I needed a new one. I purchased this pattern and decided to make view C. Initially I wanted to make every piece but the sleeves on the chemise confused me and with little to no time left, I just ended up using my old chemise in its place. I used cotton for bodice and skirts and it worked really well. I found the pattern to be accurate sizing wise although I needed to add a bit to the front as I didn't account for my bust size, only my waist. This was my first time making a bodice and I found all the directions easy to follow. The overskirt pattern being cut on the fold also confused me so I ended up just cutting the folded portion and hemming it throughout and that worked fine. I'm sure I just misread the directions but overall I am extremely pleased with the entire pattern and would def say it works for beginners.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Anya from veratile I have used this in three projects already, a little tweaking here and there makes it so much more versatile, i have made a functioning renaissance bodiced petticoat out of the vest and made a renaissance chemise out of the shirt by adding length, i have even used the vest as a base for alive action beauty and the beast Belle peasant dress costume
