Rated 3 out of 5 by Isabelle49 from Too many pattern pieces for Learn to Sew. The front pieces of this skirt pattern are mirror images of each other and one of the pieces can be cut through two pieces of fabric. If you want the pocket, then use the pattern piece with the pocket printed on it so you can mark it. Using the two separate front pieces runs the risk of cutting one of them on the wrong side and having a front piece that doesn't match up. This just makes the pattern more complicated. 20 years of sewing here. This not set for a beginner.

Rated 2 out of 5 by sgg119 from high waisted This is a bit high waisted for my figure. The placement of the front pocket is a bit complicated for the beginner. Also, I prefer a wrap skirt to have the tie wrap around my back and tie in the front. This pattern inserts the tie into the seam between the front and back panels, which makes it slightly more difficult to assemble and forces you to add an extra closure in the front. Lining this closure up to fit you properly can be tricky.
