Rated 3 out of 5 by Whymelani from Don't be fooled by the cute pic! I am an experienced sewist (22 years). This is the first pattern I have ever used that had actual errors in it. I am very disappointed that Simplicity would have such mistakes in a pattern out there for customers to even get their hands on. I made it through though. Keeping in mind that there are errors, if you are an experienced sewist, you can make it through. Have your own treatment for putting in the upper pocket in view D. Also for attaching the lining to the jacket. Don't forget to add extra fabric to the back lining piece in the WIDTH. The length needs no adjustment. I made one fashion change. I made view D with the stand up collar cause I love the zippered pocket. I made the hood detachable. I added coordinating KAM snaps to the stand up collar and the hood with trim. Last suggestion; read the instructions through very very well and make notes. Simplicity Customer service for patterns, she is great and very encouraging. If you can get her on the phone. Utilize her.

Rated 1 out of 5 by saraht from Mistake in lining piece There is a mistake in one of the lining pieces for this jacket. Several people have contacted Simplicity about this, and yet there is no mention of it on this page. If this was a knitting pattern, there would be an erratum link. Why can't Simplicity post a fix here, such as an explanation of how to redraft the piece to fit, or a PDF with corrected pattern pieces that people could print at home?

Rated 3 out of 5 by MCAsh from Lining problem I couldn't get the front lining pieces to align. One piece was 1.5 inches longer than the other. No amount of "easing" will make that disappear.
