Bamboo Cowl

Enjoy making this stylish and simple cowl rapidly, using thick yarn and jumbo needles.

ABBREVIATIONS

CO = cast on; K = knit; P = purl; PM = place marker; Sts = stitches; rnd = round

SIZE

One Size Fits All
24" Circumference X 9" Wide (garment will stretch to approximately 33" Circumference)

MATERIALS

Size 13/9.00mm Boye® 29" Circular Needle
1 Skein (108 yards) Super Bulky Weight Yarn
One Stitch Marker
Optional: Row Counter

GAUGE

9 sts = 4"; 14 rows = 4" in pattern Save time by checking your gauge. 
Change needle size as necessary to 
achieve specified gauge.

DIRECTIONS

Loosely CO 60 sts. Join for knitting in the round; do not twist. PM to indicate beginning of round.

Rnds 1-4: Purl.
Rnd 5: Knit
Rnds. 6-11: *K4, P2; repeat from * to end.
Rnds 12-13: *K4, P8; repeat from * to end.
Rnds 14-19: *K4, P2; repeat from * to end.
Rnds 20-21: *P6, K4, P2; repeat from * to end.
Rnds 22-27: *K4, P2; repeat from * to end.
Rnds 28: Knit.
Rnds 29-32: Purl.
Bind off loosely in purl. Weave in ends.
