Project Runway® Chain Trim Accessories

Faux leather-laced chain trim from the Project Runway® trim collection by Simplicity adds a designer touch to existing accessories. Here are just a couple of ways that you can update your look with elegance.

You will need:

• One purse
• Project Runway® ½" wide Chain Trim with Faux Leather Lacing 1861256879 – see instructions for yardage needed
• Scissors
• Hot glue gun
• Glue sticks

Instructions:

1. Find a simple black bag with a shape you like.
2. Measure the length of the existing strap; add 2 ½" to this measurement. Cut a length of trim the total measurement.
3. Cut off the existing strap.
4. Loop one side of the trim through one ring on the purse. Use approximately 1 ¼" of the length to knot the end.
5. Place a dot of hot glue to help hold the knot into place.
6. Repeat with other ends of strap on opposite side of purse.

You will need:

• 1 yard of Project Runway® ½" wide Chain Trim with Faux Leather Lacing 1861256879
• Scissors
• Hot glue gun
• Glue sticks

Instructions:

1. Choose a pair of colorful heels.
2. Start at the heel of one shoe and hot glue trim along the edge as shown. When you reach the end, trim off excess trim and glue ends securely so that they appear to be one continuous chain.
3. Repeat Step 2 on other shoe.
