How to Make a Webbing Belt
The above amounts are to make a belt that fits a waist up to 34".
Step 1. Pin a row of braid 1/4" from one edge of webbing. Stitch through center of trim. Apply another row to opposite edge of webbing.
Step 2. Separate buckle.
Step 3. Slide one end of webbing over the post of one end of buckle. Turn under 1" end and pin close to post. Turn under 1/4" on raw edge and pin. Hand-sew sides and turned under end of webbing in place.
Step 4. Slide remaining end of webbing over post of remaining buckle section and turn under 1" one end. Pin in place.
Step 5. Try belt on. Fasten the buckle. Adjust the length to your preferred fit. Pin end in place.
Step 6. Unfasten buckle. Cut off any extra webbing, leaving a 1" end. Turn under 1/4" on raw edge and pin. Hand-sew sides and turned under end of webbing in place.
Step 7. Wrap belt around your waist, fasten the buckle and enjoy your new belt!
