Digital patterns allow for free delivery of your patterns electronically, so you can get started sewing faster. After purchasing a digital pattern, you will receive an email from PrintSew.com with log-in ID, password and a link to your account on PrintSew.com. You will be able to view all digital patterns you have purchased in your PrintSew.com account.
Once in your account, select the pattern you would like to print. You will be able to see the tiles of the pattern, which are formatted with corner guides, built-in overlay, and grid coordinates so the printed sheets can be laid out easily and accurately. Note that the printed pattern includes all views, not just a single look. Due to the way that the pattern pieces are arranged, you must print the entire file—some pages may contain parts of each pattern piece, even if you only desire to make one look.
After the entire file is printed, assemble the pages according to the pattern coordinates. Note the overlay so that the lines match up. Apply adhesive to the back of the grid so that the pattern is secure, then start using!

Printable patterns are available to our international customers. Customers should complete their purchase transaction through International Checkout, a trusted third-party partner. While shipping will not be charged for printable patterns, International Checkout assesses a handling fee of 20% on printable pattern orders, plus $.50. How do printable patterns work?
The digital file that contains the pattern is tiled, so that it can be printed, to scale, on various standard paper sizes. They are: letter, ledger, A3, and A4. During the tiling process, page guides are added as hatchmarks on the corners of each paper. They guide the layout of the printed pages, as there is a built-in overlap (never more than 1/2") to minimize differences in outputs among home printers. Usually, printed patterns require between 30 and 60 pieces of paper when printed at home.
How do I assemble a pattern at home?
Organize your printed pages in a grid according to Row number, then Column number (Row 1/Column 1, Row 1/Column 2, Row 2/Column 1, Row 2/Column 2, etc.). Trim TOP and LEFT margins (There should not be any "White Space" on the TOP or LEFT of printed pages).
Lay the printed pages from Left to Right, Top to Bottom, overlapping each sheet.
To adhere pages together, turn sheet over, then apply a thin layer of adhesive (we recommend using rubber cement to the top and right edges of each sheet, EXCEPT the top edge of Row 1 and the right edge of Column 1.
What is included in the digital file that I will print?
Guidesheet and tiled pattern, similar to our regular patterns, but without the envelope.
How many times can I print the pattern?
