Approximately 60" (152.5 cm) in circumference and 5" (13 cm) in width
- #5 bulky weight yarn: we used Lion Brand® Homespun® (98% acrylic/2% polyester), 6 oz (170 g), 185 yd (169 m) – 1 ball #408 Wild Fire
- Boye® 29" (74 cm) circular knitting needle US size 10 (6 mm), or size needed to obtain gauge
- Stitch marker
- Boye® hand sewing tapestry needle

14 sts and 20 rnds = 4" (10 cm) in Basketweave Pattern. To save time, take time to check gauge.
Basketweave Pattern (multiple of 10)
Rows 1-4: *K5, p5; rep from * around.
Rows 5-8: *P5, k5; rep from * around.
Rep Rows 1-8 for pattern.
CO 210 sts. Place marker and join for working in the round, being careful not to twist sts. Work garter stitch edge in the round as follows:
Rnds 1 & 3: Knit.
Rnds 2 & 4: Purl.
Work Rows 1-8 of Basketweave pattern two times.
Work Rows 1-4 of garter stitch edge. BO loosely. Weave in ends.
